How much travel is there for Poky Lacrosse?

High School travels to Utah, Boise, Jackson, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, plus  multiple home games.

Youth U12-14  usually travels to Jackson, Wood River, Idaho Falls, Ammon,  Twin Falls. Rupert and other select tournament locations.

The U10 developmental team  will have multiple home games and limited travel to Idaho Falls, Ammon, Victor  area for select tournaments.

There are plenty of arrangements for rides so don't let the travel scare you.

What do I need to get started?

The Pocatello Lacrosse Club provides most necessary safety equipment needed to play. This includes shoulder pads, chest pads, elbow pads, gloves, helmets and jersey.

What do players  need to provide?

Lacrosse Stick - You can get a basic stick for around $25 to get you started. As with anything, you can get very expensive gear but it isn't needed to start or play lacrosse. Check out BIG 5 in Pocatello\Chubbuck along with BIG 5 Coupons on Home and youth page.

Mouth guard - This is mandatory.

Athletic Cup for Boys - This is not mandatory but strongly recommended.

Cleats - We play on grass fields and since this is a spring season, the fields are frequently wet. Cleats are very helpful.
